Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Guys, hope you have a GREAT break and enjoy time just to relax, eat, drink and be merry with your families :) No matter what you have, be thankful for it. We often lose sight in a society that is always telling us we need more, we want more. But in reality to be alive and be happy is the greatest gift. :)

Thank you for all the love and support over the year, I couldn't of done it without you. Means so much other people were enjoying what I was doing and I never expected it to get this big so thank you.

All moved in..........

Holy hell what a Herculean effort that was yesterday in the pouring rain. But we did it, with the help of two moving guys (one particularly delicious I might add) all moved in and boxes for miles to unpack. And I looooove my new place. Loooove it.

I can seriously not believe .......

It's nearly the end of the year! Where the hell has it all gone? Gah!

Work is almost over for the year, three weeks off over the summer thanks very much which will coinside nicely with my move, yes I am moving on the 20th December, didn't expect that at all but I wanted a new place by next winter and when I started looking bam.. there it was.. and it happened so its all good. What is not all good is being waist deep in boxes and crap littered for miles...

Hi I'm Tresca and I'm a hoarder, lol... yes. Four years in this place O_O

NOT ANYMORE....... I feel lighter already to be honest.

Anyway on the fiction front all is going well, almost half way through the next TLFR chapter so expect than in the next couple of days.. and before Xmas... I hope to launch Colby and Jon for you to give a try :)

Hope you're all avoiding the mental Christmas shoppers, its CRAZY here allllready!

Fifty Thousand Words....

All this in between, life, work, an ill Grandfather and some personal dramas, lol.. but it is DONE. I have to say it was a lot of fun doing this and getting stuck into it the way I did, I surprised myself.

I do now have a small issue of wanting to vomit looking at a word document, so it's time to relax, my eyes and wrists are killing me. LOL. Not to mention my brain. But now my faithful readers you have a little tale to look forward to mid-Decemeber with Jon and Colby. So watch this space.

Of course Jesse and Jon will be updated his week, I've already started thinking about them again so that will come very very soon.

Oh and I possibly will write a Jon/Lily short for Christmas ;)

Did I mention I'm thinking of going to New York for two weeks in Feb? We'll see. lol.

Ahhh in the home stretch

Finally Novemeber is coming to a close, which means NanoWrimo is as well... I'm still 6,000 odd words away so I've gone some work to do this weekend. But we'll get there. It's been a hell of a challenge but a lot of fun to really delve into one character. I'm really keen to take my writing further next year and looking at some classes etc.. so alll good.

Apart from work being crazy and my Grandfather having emergency surgery and then a heart attack AFTER the surgery, life is good. He's doing ok now thank goodness :)

So it's friday, thank god! What a crazy week! Gah! I have a crap load of writing to get done this weekend between life, lol. You will be pleased to see TLFR is updated, yay! Thanks for all the feedback, means the world as per usual.

Sooo November is TWO thirds finished, and I have twenty thousand words to write in nine days.. YIKES... tall order but I think they Kiwi can do it !

Stress Stress Stress

Pretty much my life at the moment. Work has been a little crazy, and stressful causing a few things on my end to fall out plus some things in my homelife, so I apologize for lack of updates/contact and for TLFR especially, but I haven't forgotten :) Still more to come, I promise.

On a good note, I am rocketing through my nano-challenge nearly at the 30,000 word mark, with 20,000 to go, I think you're going to love Colby & Jon's story come December ;)

So spare a thought for the Kiwi, she needs all the good vibes she can get to ride out Nov ;)

Yes THEY Can!

Indeed they can. Well done Barack Obama, as a non-American I was really excited to see him elected yesterday. Listening to his speech, he reminded me alot of when Bill Clinton was in power. I just hope he can carry out all the hopes that the world has on him to envoke what I feel a much needed change in the world, where needed.

Whether people care to admit it or not, no matter where you live in the world. The United States has influence, especially as a Western Country. I was amazed at the overwhelming reaction at his victory, and how excited the American People were. I was lucky enough to share the occasion with a very good fellow American friend of mine as it unfolded.

As for me, things are going swimmingly wonderfully busy, work and out of work. This time of year tends to get a little crazy for everyone, so don't forget to take time out for yourselves in this lead up to the holidays.

As for me, fingers are bleeding over the keys, but I'm really excited how the story is progressing that you will be treated to in December. ;)

Tell me why I don't like Monday's

Uh huh, Bob Geldolf sung it, I believe in it. Blah! Another day back at the grind and man did the smallest things end up pissing me off at work today! But it's ok, as I have good news too. As some of you know, I'm participating in National Novel month this month, and my choice of work is a Fan Fiction, called Under the Influence that I am proud to admit has taken pretty nice flight, five thousand words of flight. Good going so far. ;-) So if you like Destination Anywhere era Jon, with a ounce of cockiness, be watching Decemeber-ish ;)

Anyway, that's all have a fabulous start to the week.

Sunday itis...

And the second day of summer is here across the ditch...because of my relaxed state all Saturday means all my work needs to be done today! ARGH. Don't you hate that? I have a load of personal, business and enjoyment work to get through today even though the sun is calling me saying "Rellllaaaaaxxx"



I do have one observation for the day, and that is that is, I miss him :( I hate Jovi downtime. But on a better note...

Hellllooo & Welcome

So I decided to join the legions of bloggers out there and make my own little homebase to link all my current works and just well have fun with.
<--- it's his fault, that's right I'm blaming my sudden need to write screeds of stories on him. It's only fair right?

Ok, so far I've been writing my small epic This Left Feels Right which I'm overwhelmed to be honest that, a) it has gone as long as it has, and b) the amazing feedback I've received this far. It truly is a wonderful thing and has made me work harder to improve my writing so thank you so much ;-).

My two newest vignette characters Jon and Lily have had nearly two completed stories, so watch out for more from them on their space. And I've been working on some new collaborations that should make it out to the new year, VERY exciting ;)

Writing has become something a little more than just something to do over the last year, and this year I'm entering the National Novel Writing Month in November attempting to write 50,000 words *eek* in a month.. and you will be pleased to know it's a Fan Fic. A BRAND new one. So by December watch this space for a new story featuring a girl named Colby set in the Destination Anywhere Era, entitled "Under The Influence"

Ok enough from me, keep looking for the Kiwi Saying of the week, and of course pictures... From time to time I will post some fun things, but mostly I'll keep you all updated of new things from not only me but also my fellow authors.

Time to have that morning latte, and do some real work (pfff what's that?)
